Overview
Kangchenjunga or sometime spelled Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the whole world after gigantic Mount Everest and Mount K2. It is located between two territories of Nepal and Sikkim. Five major peaks make up the Kangchenjunga mountain range. Two of the major peaks out of five lies in Taplejung district of Nepal. Mount Kangchenjunga rises with an altitude of 8,586m which is very high. The first expedition to the summit was made by British on 25 May 1955.
