Bhutan is a landlocked beautiful country in South Asia. Situated in the Eastern Himalayas, it is limited by Tibet Autonomous Region of China in the north, the Sikkim state of India and the Chumbi Valley of Tibet in the west, the Arunachal Pradesh state of India in the east and the states of Assam and West Bengal in the South. Thimphu is the country’s capital and is the largest city in Bhutan. Bhutan is gifted with natural beauty. The bio-diversity of Bhutan is great with a lot of attractions from around the globe. Bhutan has a rich primate life comprising rare species like golden langur, clouded leopard and Bengal tiger. Bhutan is known for a sacred mountainside monastery hanging in a cliff, decorated with ornate and arts i.e Paro Taktsang. Punakaha Dzong is an imposing palace and fortress which dates back to the ancient 17th century in a heavenly setting . Tashichho Dzong is another famous huge Buddhist monastery famed for its sheer number of shrines, attractive gardens and city views. National Museum of Bhutan showcases some of the historic and important monuments of Bhutanese people along with other statues, paintings and arts. Mount Jitchu Drake is a mountain in the Himalayas of Bhutan which elevates at height of 6797m. Chele La is an absolutely mind-blowing picturesque pass featuring lush forests, waterfalls, grazing yaks and awe-inspiring vistas. In comparison, Bhutan has no shortage of beautiful attraction points in the region. That is why, many tourists love to pay a visit to Bhutan once in their life time.
