The beginning of our journey takes place from Syabrubesi. Syabrubesi is about 7-8 hours far from Kathmandu and follows a scenic mountainous road. Several beautiful rural settlements and landscapes can be witnessed while travelling to the village of Syabrubesi. If the weather is favoring us, we can enjoy an astounding views of Mt. Manasalu, Annapurna and Ganesh on a clear day. After exploring Syabrubesi for some time, we follow Langtang River to the east. We will come across a forest of Oak trees and Rhododendron flowers in our way. Crossing the bridge above Langtang River, we continue to ascend to Mundu while enjoying the vast mountain landscape with lavish waterfalls. Snowy white peaks of Langtang range becomes more and more visible as we approach the grassland of Ghoda Tabela. Kyangjin Gompa is at about 4-5 hours distance from Mundu. While traversing to Kyangjin Gompa, we encounter several prayer wheels, chhortens, water mills and holy rocks with sacred inscriptions carved on them noting us about the cultural importance of the place. Amazing mountain views surround the Kyangjin Gompa along with the spiritual atmosphere of Buddha. Exploring the major Buddhist monastery and shrines, we hike to explore Tserko Ri for acclimatization to the high altitudes. Tserko Ri is famous for its amazing sunrise views. The golden rays of sun hitting the high peaks and environment of Tserko Ri is really breathtaking. Further exploring the beautiful Tserko Ri, we trail back to Kyangjin Gompa, Syabrubesi and finally to Kathmandu to celebrate the successful trip to Langtang Valley. This trek is bound to provide you unimaginable fun and adventure relatively in a short time compared to other treks in other regions.
